Saturday 20 Dec – North Lake Race 1

We had a good breeze of 5-10mph from the South-East. Even better, we had 13 boats turn up on a Saturday morning.

We welcomed new member Stephen Rogers (692) to the fleet and he sailed the first couple of races with us.

We had 5 different winners today with a dead heat for second in Race 7 (so 2.5 each).

Our overall winner today was Ian Proctor (823) with 2 wins and 3 seconds. Second was Adrian Wallis (81), who kept clear of trouble today, with a win and 2 seconds. Third was Paul Heaney (422), despite missing 2 races due to a rudder servo issue, with 3 wins and a second.

There were only 3.5 points between the next 3 places with Andy Chapman (291) fourth with a win, Colin Cooper (7) fifth with 2 wins and Andy Gordon (562) sixth.
