Monday 13 March – Series 2 Race 4
The weather was windy and very gusty as forecast (30-50mph). We moved our course to the windward end on the lake to reduce the wave size. We all had C Rigs except Ian (823) who only had a B rig.
It was John Smith (277) who handled the conditions best today with 4 wins to take the overall win. Mike Kemp (270) was second with 3 wins. Ian Proctor (823) struggled with his overpowered B rig and Paul Heaney (422) made too many mistakes but did manage to win Race 8.
